Tyler Coulverson is a Pittsburgh-based Mortgage Loan Originator and passionate community advocate focused on advancing economic empowerment through education and access. Inspired by his own financial journey, Tyler became committed to teaching key principles of budgeting, credit management, and wealth-building to individuals and families across his region.
A proud graduate of Northside Urban Pathways and Clarion University of Pennsylvania, Tyler sharpened his financial acumen through the BankWork$ program, which laid the foundation for a successful seven-year banking career. He held leadership roles at multiple financial institutions, where he became known for client-centered service and strategic insight.
Today, Tyler serves as Vice President of The Greenwood Plan, where he champions Black business development and supports entrepreneurship as a pathway to generational wealth. He is also the creator and host of the “Financial Literacy with TC” podcast and YouTube series, where he breaks down complex topics through engaging conversations with industry experts.
In recognition of his impact, Tyler was named to the New Pittsburgh Courier’s “Fab 40 Under 40” in 2024. His work continues through partnerships with United Purpose Mortgage, WAVE (Willissae’s Agency for Vision and Empowerment), and a wide network of community organizations. In 2025, his dedication was further honored with multiple community service awards from Howard Hanna and BNY Mellon, celebrating his efforts to make financial literacy accessible and homeownership achievable.
